S5 GK-Genbakanri Home

5S is a Japanese housekeeping method of shaping-up the shopfloor, office and home. 5S, abbreviated from the Japanese words Seiri, Seiton, Seison, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke, are simple but effective methods to organize the workplace. In English, it means housekeeping, workplace organization, cleanup, keep cleanliness, and discipline. It is widely used in established organization to strengthen QCDS (Quality, Cost, Delivery & Safety). It is an excellence management tool for promoting good performance in a workplace. Therefore, 5S is the 1st impression of QUALITY IN WORKPLACE.

You may be wondering how the coming economy situation is going to affect your operations. But let me assure you that the best time to train is during the difficult times for any training to be more meaningful & effective. One of the HR Managers said this “Those who take the opportunity to train their staff during the bad times are the ones who will reap better profits when it recovers. Others who do not see the whole picture will cut costs. That is the biggest mistake!”

I believe this will also be a milestone to you for taking up this challenge to transform the workplace and improve the Company image. Your MD/CEO/BOD will definitely see this 5S journey as an excellent journey towards quality excellence.
